Two poker players win jackpots at the same Vegas casino. What were the winning cards?

Two poker players got lucky at an iconic Las Vegas casino over the weekend. A man from Sheridan, Montana, hit a $600,022 jackpot Saturday, Oct. 12, at Caesars Palace, the hotel said in a news release. He was at a High Card Flush poker table for less than an hour when he won with a six-card straight flush. A straight flush happens when cards are in sequential order and all in the same suit. His winning cards were a 9, 10, jack, queen, king and ace.

The lucky poker player traveled to Vegas for a football game but left over a half-million dollars richer.

The second poker player was on vacation at the gambling destination from Knoxville, Tennessee, the hotel said. She sat at a Crazy 4 Poker table at the same casino on Oct. 13 and won the $216,682 jackpot. The woman scored big with a royal flush, the rarest hand in the game, according to Upswing Poker. Her winning cards were a 10, jack, queen, king and ace. The lucky gambler told the casino she plans to spend her money on a home and to travel with her children. Caesars Palace is famous for its Roman architecture. The hotel and casino is on the Strip.
